In various small and mid-sized organisations the HR & Admin functions are clubbed together as it may not require separate teams to handle these functions. Moreover the complexities involved would be less due to lesser number of employees to handle and smaller area of operations. In such cases it is imperative that the professionals handling such roles are conversant with both the functions. Thus this course of PG Diploma in HR & Administration will provide the candidate with the knowledge related to some of the core (transactional) functions of HR as well as some functions of Admin work.

Working professionals from HR and Administrative departments.
This shall be a work integrated PG Diploma in HR & Administration will be conducted over a period of one year and will cover 20 credits of classroom training and 20 credits of on the job training.
This is a work integrated course, so all students who are not already working shall be placed with industry HR teams for a minimum of 4 months in the year. Most students end up getting an internship for the full year. Some have even been absorbed by the company on permanent rolls after the completion of the course.
Students will be assessed on project work and a written examination that will be conducted at the end of each semester.
The Post Graduate Diploma shall consist of four core courses covering the generic HR subjects and other one course covering the administrative area. These are, recruitment management, payroll & statutory compliance, performance management (performance appraisal), training & development, general administration.
